UPDATE: Jerry Roush filling in for Austin Carlile, Of Mice And Men
We previously wondered whether ex-Sky Eats Airplane singer Jerry Roush was in a new band due to a few interesting tweets yesterday. Turns out he’s actually filling in as lead vocalist for Of Mice & Men while Austin Carlile deals with a heart condition that may require surgery.
In typical Roush fashion, he revealed the gig in hysterical fashion via Twitter:
“it rhymes with ‘shmof shmice shmand shmen’ “
“Im gunna be on tour filling in for a band that was written in 1937 by John Steinbeck.”
OM&M is currently on tour with Alesana, A Skylit Drive, The Word Alive, We Came As Romans, and Gwen Stacy.
