The above review is pretty much straight gospel. I had an opportunity (happenstance) to witness these boys from the city of angels a week (or so) ago here in Grand Rapids, MI. All I can say is…total musical devastation! I am obviously making a positive comment about their onslaught of creative musicianship and lyrics/vocals. I was pretty much blown away by their stage presence and sound. My only regret is that more people from West Michigan didn\’t come out for the show or stumble in on the ruckus.
I was able to speak to some of the guys after the show and I will say that they have TRUEHEARTS all around. These guys know themselves and their instruments. They record/perform for the love of the art/music. Anyway, pick this album up off the shelf and let it burn whatever you place it in. I also heard many influences in their music (especially live). Do I dare say a hint of the 90\’s…hmmm…even Rage, Helmet, Deftones? PS. The live Refused cover was/is legit. I have a feeling if you are reading this you will like the album. Can we agree on that?

I’m extremely jealous you got to see them live and hope they come to my town soon. They definitely seem like really passionate people going by their music and their blog. And thank you for the compliments on my review.
