Sky Eats Airplane Loses Vocalist

There still is no official statement from the band, but based on his Twitter, it sure appears that Bryan Zimmerman is out of Sky Eats Airplane.  The incriminating Tweets:

7:51 pm Aug 15- “@mamund8394 bcuz they left me in MD w/ no way to get to texas when all of them were literally 3 hours away from me 2 days ago”

9:53 pm Aug 15- “@dainjh thank you dude! Everything happens for a reason, I was unhappy with the friendship or lack thereof anyways”

8:08 pm Aug 21- “@JayElleEss thank you so much dude! Yeah its a shame. Seems like everything changed in less than a weeks time but I guess its for the best!”

Losing a frontman is nothing new to SEA, as original vocalist Jerry Roush (now in Of Mice & Men) quit in July 2009.  Zimmerman, his replacement, was hired in December 2009, only lasting with the band nine months.  On the last date of the recent Scream It Like You Mean It Tour, the band played a show without Zimmerman, using guest vocalists.  His only recorded work with the band was 2010′s The Sound Of Symmetry, reviewed on MindEqualsBlown here.
