The Receiving End Of Sirens Recording.
Well there you are. Brendan Brown of The Receiving End Of Sirens posted this picture to TwitPic yesterday of himself and bandmate Alex Bars (hysterically referred to as Akbar in the tweet) in the studio. Add the series of tweets below from @TheBrendanBrown to the pile of evidence as well.
While no one has officially confirmed anything yet, the evidence is far too great to ignore now. You surely remember all the craze Brian Southall started last week when he spelled out (literally) that TREOS is working on new songs. Since then his band mates Brown, Nate Patterson, and Andrew Cook have all tweeted their two cents, basically planning out when and where they’ll be meeting up to work on music via their Twitter accounts.
Brown’s tweets yesterday were the first mention of Bars, apparently the only TREOS member without a Twitter. His mention means that every member from The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi-era has checked in. It’s worth noting that original guitarist/songwriter Casey Crescenzo is yet to be mentioned. Since quitting after Between The Heart and The Synapse, Crescenzo has remained the most active TREOS member due to the success of his band The Dear Hunter. Crescenzo did return to play with the band for the Skatefest reunion show, though many consider him the least likely to participate if a true reunion ever occured due to his TDH obligations.

I’m actually kind of glad Casey most likely won’t be back. I vastly prefer Mi Fa Mi and would love to hear them progress even further.
