MindEqualsBlown exclusive: Tilian Pearson Joins Archives, formerly The Sound Archives

As MindEqualsBlown.net and several other news sources are reporting, ex-Tides Of Man vocalist Tilian Pearson has a new project going under the name Archives for which a demo was posted on SoundCloud earlier tonight, embedded above.

MindEqualsBlown.net has the exclusive on the other members involved in this project, and the band’s true identity.

As the Archive band’s Facebook post reveals, the band consists of Nick Depirro, Aric Improta, Reilly Herrera, Tilian Pearson.

Depirro, Improta, and Herrera come from Fullerton, CA band The Sound Archives. The band released two records, a self-titled EP and So You Broke Your Own Record, both with former vocalist Marco Lira. Hear titled “So You Broke Your Own Record” below, and old track featuring Lira’s vocals:

Since departing from Lira over 2 years ago, the band has been searching for a new vocalist, accepting submissions via their PureVolume and MySpace profiles. Three instrumental demos can be heard via the links.

It can be assumed that with Pearson’s addition, the band decided to change the name due to the distinct difference in their sound. The Sound Archives’ Facebook page has also been deleted.
