Is Jerry Roush in a New Band?!?!

Posted by : Jack Appleby | In Category: Uncategorized

It’s been a long, long time since ex-Sky Eats Airplane singer Jerry Roush made any mention of music.  A Twitter regular, Roush spends more time updating on whatever he’s watching or eating than on his future in hardcore.

Then today, out of nowhere, he tweeted:

learning lyrics and vocal patterns for 7 songs in 3 days… can i do it? should be fun… havent played a show in a minute ha”

The tweet has several clues worth digging into.  For one, we know he’s playing a show in three days, so unless Chiodos is playing a secret show we don’t know about, he won’t be Craig Owens’ replacement.  Next, he’s clearly a replacement vocalist, as he’s learning someone else’s lyrics and melody. Also, a peak at Roush’s MySpace reveals he’s in Virginia.

So…know any VA-based bands that need a singer and have a show in three days?

In case anyone doubted Roush’s sudden interest in music, he tweeted later last night again about the event.
