Falling in love at a concert is easy to do when Cigarettes After Sex puts on a show. Touring in support of their second record Cry, out October 25, the ambient pop band set the mood with hazy lighting and a gorgeous black-and-white short film before their Kansas City, MO debut. The crowd, primarily couples ranging of all ages, races, and sexes, slow danced in unison to the 14-song setlist. The room was filled with romance as far as the eye could see. The music’s ethereal vibrations carried you into the night and out of the venue when the sweet sounds came to an end.
