Counterparts kicked off the Private Room tour last week in NYC, supported by Being As An Ocean, Have Mercy, and Varials.
The Gramercy Theater recently filled up with fans anxiously waiting for the first night of the mixed bill tour, kicked off by Varials and Have Mercy. Though the two bands couldn’t be more different, they were met with the same energy from the passionate fans.
Being As An Ocean took that to another level, with vocalist Joel Quartuccio jumping over the barricade into the crowd.
Counterparts stole the show, lighting up the crowd with their cathartic music and incredible stage presence.
The Private Room Tour is in support of Counterparts’ EP by the same name, which came out in early September. The EP is a follow up to Counterparts’ acclaimed 2017 LP You’re Not You Anymore.
