Mayday Parade stopped by The PlayStation Theater last week with special guests This Wild Life, William Ryan Key, and Oh, Weatherly.
Oh, Weatherly opened up the night, followed by William Ryan Key. The former Yellowcard vocalist played a handful of songs off his latest solo release, Virture, mixed in with a few fan favorites like “Ocean Avenue.”
Acoustic duo This Wild Life took the state next, currently on the road in support of their latest release, Petaluma. Petaluma is currently out on Epitaph Records.
Mayday Parade was the final band of the night, and had the crowd on its feet immediately, opening their set with “It’s Hard To Be Religious When Certain People Are Never Incinerated By Bolts Of Lightning” off their most recent record, Sunnyland. The band played quite a few songs off the new album, but didn’t forget favorites like “Jersey”, “Three Cheers for Five Years” and “Anywhere But Here”.
