Well, the moment many post-hardcore fans have been not-so-patiently hoping would occur for 11 years has finally come to fruition.
At the Drive-In, the incredibly influential post-hardcore band that produced seminal records from the mid 1990s to the early 2000s, launched a new website as well as activated a twitter after months of dormancy.
The message on both sites is as follows: “¡ ATTENTION ! To whom it may concern: AT THE DRIVE-IN will be breaking their 11 year silence THIS STATION IS …NOW…OPERATIONAL.”
For the last 11 years, the members of the band have performed in various bands, including The Mars Volta, Sparta, Sleepercar and Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group.
This immediately has become my most anticipated record for 2012.
