Corkscrew Streams New EP Suffer No More; Announces Winter Dates with Blackhole

By Tyler Sharp · On December 3, 2013

Corkscrew - Promo

The Scoop: Indiana hardcore outfit Corkscrew is currently streaming their brand new EP Suffer No More, which was released earlier this week via Work Ethic Records. You can check it out now below.

If you dig what you hear, you can purchase the release via various bundle options available here.

Along with the release, the band has announced that they are going to be heading out on a short run with fellow hardcore outfit Blackhole. You can check out the itinerary below.

December:
26th – Champagne, IL (Error Records)
27th – Kankakee, IL (The Mosh Salon)
28th – Chesterton, IN (The Sound Cellar)
29th – Des Moines, IA (The Underground Rockshop)
30th – Springfield, MO (The Obec)

The Spin: After a relentless year of playing countless shows and releasing their debut EP Spring Demo, the boys in Corkscrew are back and more solid than ever with their latest effort Suffer No More. Despite only containing two songs coupled with an intro, SNM is an indisputable sign of progression among a scene full of stagnancy.

The Question: What do you think of the release? Do you plan on picking up a merch package? If so, which one? Let us know in the comments below!

I like to think of myself as a musical savant; if I learn anything new about music (or in some way relating to music) I stow it away within the confines of my mind. The more knowledge I have about the industry and music itself, the better I feel. Underoath is the reason I am who I am today. NCIS is the greatest show on television. Fall is the best time of year. Writing is my passion.
