A little bit of alt-pop and R&B conjoined together, NY-born singer, Harloe unveils her new single, “All In My Feelings,” featuring Chicago rapper Dreezy. The song is released at the right time before the weather breaks – highlighting how love escalates. An interesting tidbit about Harloe; she sings, writes and produces all aspects of her music.
The track starts out with a lullaby-like, synth that plays in between Harloe’s hip-hop cadence. As you get closer to the chorus, the piano keys get more intense as Harloe sings about her the source of her infatuation. Once you get to the chorus, there’s a parade of 808’s and distortion that may remind of something from Purity Ring in how it’s composed. Dreezy comes in and adds from her perspective and what you have is a good introduction that molds the world of pop and urban music.
