The Scoop: The pop/rock trio, King The Kid have released a brand new cover song and music video for “Beat It” by Michael Jackson. The band is notorious for their wildly successful cover hits such as the Miley Cyrus “Wrecking Ball” cover with over 4 million views and Taylor Swift “22” cover featuring friends: Alex Goot, Sam Tsui, Kurt Schneider, and Against The Current hitting close to 5 million views.
The Spin: Just last month, King The Kid exclusively premiered their latest single “Last Train” with a lyric video (edited by Nick of For The Foxes) on Billboard co-produced by the band and Adam Sliger.
“It’s about a long-distance relationship, and the final moments of being together before the last goodbye and leaving each other’s side. Being in a band that travels often, we’ve all been there, and the song wrote itself pretty effortlessly.” – King The Kid
