The Scoop: Christian metalcore juggernaut The Devil Wears Prada has been forced to drop off their single show date with Saving Grace in New Zealand due to guitarist Chris falling ill and being unable to make the flight over. Saving Grace, however, will be playing an extended set and For All Eternity, Out Cold AD and The Marie Slack Band will serve as support. You can check out the announcement from Saving Grace as well as an official statement from TDWP below.
The Spin: While undoubtedly a disappointment for those planning on attending the show, Saving Grace alone should be enough incentive to go. Their metallic breed of hardcore is a breath of fresh air to the genre and is sure to provide an extremely enjoyable experience. The band will be releasing their highly anticipated sophomore full length album The Urgency tomorrow, January 21st, via Facedown Records. You can check out the first two singles from the record here and here.
