The Felix Culpa, who will no longer be one of the best bands around after its final show this Friday, are repressing their first record, 2004’s Commitment, on vinyl, attached with the tracks from their EP SoSoRemission.
This is one release you don’t want to pass up, as Commitment was one of the better post-hardcore releases of the last decade and this will be the only time it will ever be pressed to vinyl, as well as the last time to support the great band.
Visit http://www.hun.do/ for details on the release. The site requires 100 purchases to put the project into production and the band needs 33 more by next Wednesday night to reach their goal. Additional purchases will lend themselves to the band creating more deluxe packaging. The artwork will be redesigned by singer/guitarist/graphic designer Marky Hladish.
Also, come back to MEB this weekend to check out coverage of the band’s final show, which I will be attending.
