On May 3, pop punk veterans The Maine performed at the legendary 9:30 Club in Washington D.C., with support from Beach Weather and The Mowgli’s. Although the show hadn’t sold out, there was no shortage of fans in the venue, as people were crammed from the front all the way to the back. Opening the evening with a performance by Beach Weather, ex-A Rocket To The Moon Nick Santino’s new project, the crowd surprisingly knew many of the songs, and was able to sing along, to the clear surprise of Santino. After Beach Weather, The Mowgli’s, famous for their hit song “I’m Good”, took the stage and performed an incredible set full of positivity and catchy tunes. The real show stopper, of course, was The Maine. After ten years of performing together, they know how to hold a stage presence. The set covered songs from their entire discography, as well as the dreamy set-up for the stage left the audience in awe of John O’Callaghan’s vocals.
