Punk rock band Free Throw made their way back to Kansas City on Saturday, Sept. 7 at The Rino in North Kansas City, MO. The band, promoting their new album What’s Past Is Prologue, was supported by acts Chris Farren, Youth Fountain, and Macseal. The crowd didn’t miss a beat as moshers got boisterous in the small venue, and not even bloody noses could stop them.
Lead singer Cory Castro reminisced about the times and how his career and songwriting has evolved over the years. Castro didn’t shy away from his issues with addiction and embraced the challenges and the changes while performing. Closing out the show with the hit “Two Beers In,” the crowd couldn’t resist one last mosh before closing out the evening.
What’s Past Is Prologue is out now.
