The Scoop: In news that is sure to sadden music fans all over the world, the release date for Anberlin‘s final album Lowborn has been pushed back to July 22. A statement from the band’s Facebook reads as follows:
“Hello friends – we have some not so awesome news. Due to some circumstances completely out of our control, and some rather unpleasant aspects of this crazy music business, the release date for Lowborn has been moved and is now July 22. We are very, very sorry, but hopefully we can make it up to everyone somehow. Luckily, it’s only one month later.”
The Spin: Let’s look at the bright side: June already has plenty of sure-to-be-great albums coming out so an extra month or so should pass very quickly. At least, we at MEB will tell ourselves that.
Stay tuned as we’ll bring you any further updates on Lowborn as well as Anberlin’s final world tour.
