The Scoop: The water crisis occurring in Flint, Michigan is both heartbreaking and infuriating. While there have been valiant efforts in helping those residents who don’t have access to clean water, there’s always more we can do. Thankfully, the healing power of music artists always seems to form around these tragedies. A team of people decided to put together the Not Safe To Drink compilation album that will be available on February 20th through Bandcamp for a minimum of $5.
A tracklist for Not Safe To Drink is not yet available, but so far more than 50 artists from the worlds of punk, rock, alternative, and metal have contributed material to the release. Artists such as Taking Back Sunday, We Came As Romans, King 810 , Craig Owens, Anti-Flag, and more will be apart of the compilation effort.
Pre-order the album now over on Bandcamp. All proceeds raised will go to benefit FlintKids.Org, a charity that focuses on the long term fixes and aid related to lead exposure in Flint, Michigan’s children.
