The Scoop: III Points is coming and the lineup will quench any thirsty concert goer. In celebration of its third year, the event will return to Miami this October 9 to 11, with five stages, BBQs, gallery showcases and more.
Headlining the three-day festival is Nicolas Jaar performing a 3-hour DJ set, Run The Jewels (EL-P and Killer Mike), Animal Collective’s Panda Bear, Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons as well as Ghostface Killah & MF Doom. Sort of.
The Spin: According to the festival’s press release, the Wu-Tang lyricist will be “transported Star Trek-style” where he will “bring a one-of-a-kind, interactive performance, where DOOM will appear from the other side of time, on a live screen.”
Crazy. This performance could be a game changer in hip-hop showmanship. The exceptional duo will also debut music from their upcoming joint project, DOOMSTARKS. Their latest single “Lively Hood” can be heard below.
