The Scoop: Florida pop-rockers Yellowcard, who recently revealed that longtime drummer Longineu Parsons has left the band, have now announced via Instagram that Nate Young of alternative rock giants Anberlin will be playing the drums on the forthcoming Yellowcard album. The official statement reads:
“We are happy to let you know that our friend Nate Young of Anberlin will be playing drums on the new record. We’ve known Nate for a long time and can’t wait to work with him creatively.”
The Spin: As sad as many people were about Parsons’ departure, Young is an absolute beast on the drums and will most definitely do Yellowcard and their fans proud on the new album.
