The Scoop: Detroit-based alternative rockers Shapes & Colors have unveiled a very unique Indiegogo campaign called #TheTenDollarCampaign in order to raise money for the recording of their upcoming EP with famed producer Aaron Sprinkle (Anberlin, Emery, The Almost).
#TheTenDollarCampaign promotes the $10 tier of the band’s fundraiser, which gives the backer the band’s entire digital discography as well as signed physical versions of their debut album, Hold Your Breath, and the upcoming EP for the price of an album or concert ticket.
You can find more information on the campaign and make a donation on the band’s official Indiegogo page. They will be heading into the studio with Sprinkle in late June.
The Spin: Vocalist Travis Bobier says of the forthcoming EP:
“This is the year we make a statement to the music community. We want our message to be heard. This EP is going to be loud, raw, and honest, and we hope that it resonates with any urges you might have to do something daring and liberating.”
