The Scoop: Indie rock outfit Tallhart has had their van broken into and robbed while on a tour stop in Chicago, Illinois. However, the band is finishing out the tour despite the obvious setback. You can check out two official statements from the band below.
To the assholes who stole all of our clothes and shoes and computers and guitars and cameras – Joke is on you. We didn’t really like any of that stuff. Just kidding. We’re super bummed.
So, we were robbed last night and our window was smashed in. Bullshit, yes. However, we are definitely going to make every date on this tour. (If nothing worse happens, of course). We have enough gear to continue. Also, enough cash/credit cards for repairs. Most importantly, we have amazing friends, family and fans who are willing to help us out. And for that we are extremely grateful. Thanks for your support and we are stoked to play tonight in Iowa City!
The Spin: We’re sure we can vouch for others when we say Chicago is a far better place that how it is represented by this situation. Nonetheless, we wish the band only the best on the remaining dates of the tour. You can check out the tour’s unfinished itinerary below.
