Trent Reznor Calls Out Grammy Producers For Cutting Short Final Performance

By Tyler Sharp · On January 27, 2014

The Scoop: Trent Reznor, frontman for iconic rock outfit Nine Inch Nails, took to Twitter last night after his band’s closing presentation with Queens Of The Stone Age, Dave Grohl and Lindsay Buckingham was cut short mid-performance thanks to a  handful of advertisements and credits. You can check out the vocalist’s aggressive choice of words below.

Music’s biggest night… to be disrespected. A heartfelt F**K YOU guys.

The Spin: Music’s 56th annual biggest night was held last night in, as always, spectacular fashion. Performances from the biggest names in music were held, alongside tributes to those we lost this past year, as well as artists we gained.

The night was supposed to finish with an unforgettable performance from Nine Inch Nails, Queens Of The Stone Age, Dave Grohl, and Lindsay Buckingham – and it did. However, due to the television program running well over its scheduled running time, it was cut short mid-song. As you can tell, Trent wasn’t pleased.

In case you missed the Grammy awards last night and would like a recap, you can check out the nominations and winners for all 82 categories here.

The Question:  What did you think if the band’s performance getting cut short? We’re you dissaoppinted? Let us know in the comments below!

I like to think of myself as a musical savant; if I learn anything new about music (or in some way relating to music) I stow it away within the confines of my mind. The more knowledge I have about the industry and music itself, the better I feel. Underoath is the reason I am who I am today. NCIS is the greatest show on television. Fall is the best time of year. Writing is my passion.
