The long-awaited return of Kansas City’s sweethearts, Glass Animals, was met with sheer excitement as fans filled a sold-out recordBar on Friday, March 6. The show was announced a month ago and sold out in a matter of minutes.
The British-based psychedelic rock band has been on hiatus since 2018 after drummer Joe Seaward was seriously injured in a cycling accident in July 2018. After a long recovery, the band has never sounded better and the crowds never more excited.
With a capacity of nearly 400, the recordBar was a coveted place to be as fans wrapped around the block eagerly waiting to get inside. Glass Animals was the only act for the show and played 15 songs combining fan favorites and the anticipated new songs off their upcoming album, Your Love (Déjà Vu), set to come out sometime this year.
There is much excitement around the band as they make their comeback, but one thing for sure is that fans are happy that they are back and better than ever.
