This Father’s Day weekend was a jam-packed one in Kansas City, as the annual Boulevardia festival was brought to the West Bottoms to celebrate the summer. The weekend consisted of samplings of food, beer, and music, as well as local shops showing off their product. Friday’s headliners were Meg Myers and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, who both come to the city often. Saturday’s headliner was Nate Ruess (of Fun. and The Format). Sunday’s headliner was Gin Blossoms. Despite the heat, attendants came to every day with good spirits and showed their love for Kansas City culture.
