The Scoop: Pop punk outfits Forever Came Calling and Family Thief have announced that they will be releasing a brand new acoustic split EP on November 19th via Pure Noise Records. FCC is currently premiering a brand new song off the release titled “Endangered Innocence” via our friends over at AbsolutePunk. You can check out the new track here, or below, as well as the split’s artwork and track listing.

The Spin: Somewhat of a change of pace for the rambunctious pop punk outfit, “Endangered Innocence” is a moving piece that is sure to  tug at the heartstrings of just about every kid searching aimlessly for Logan’s Circle or waiting for the sun to rise over Mt. Diablo. If you’re looking for a track to serve as an antithesis to your Summer soundtrack, look no further, we’ve found it for you.

The Question: What do you think of the new song from FCC? Are you excited to hear the rest of the split? Let us know in the comments below!

I like to think of myself as a musical savant; if I learn anything new about music (or in some way relating to music) I stow it away within the confines of my mind. The more knowledge I have about the industry and music itself, the better I feel. Underoath is the reason I am who I am today. NCIS is the greatest show on television. Fall is the best time of year. Writing is my passion.
